A. It is unlawful for any person or owner, operator, or driver of any motor vehicles to run, operate or drive or to cause or permit any motor vehicle to be run, operated or driven onto or into any intersection designated as a stop intersection unless such motor vehicle shall first be brought to a full stop immediately before entering upon or crossing said intersection, unless directed to enter upon or cross said intersection by a qualified and authorized police officer of the City, or by means of some automatic or other traffic signal device maintained by the City.

B. Any person violating any of the provisions of this Section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable as set forth in Chapter 1.12 of this code.
