The purpose of this chapter is to provide objective zoning standards for two-unit developments within single-family residential zones, to implement the provisions of State law as reflected in Government Code Section 65852.21, to facilitate the development of new residential housing units consistent with the City of Belvedere’s General Plan, and to ensure sound standards of public health and safety.
