Where permitted in a residential zone, any church, club building, public building, nursery school or preschool shall not be constructed, altered or enlarged unless the construction, alteration or enlargement preserves and maintains yards along each side and along the front and rear of the lot not less than ten feet, except where requirements for the particular zone are greater.
