The subdivider shall file with the City Engineer twelve copies of the final map and one electronic copy conforming to the requirements set forth in Section 18.20.040(B). Upon filing of the final map, the subdivider shall pay to the City for the purpose of checking, computing, investigating, surveying and other matters required by law, such fees as are hereafter fixed from time to time by City Council resolution. In addition, prior to recordation of the map, the subdivider shall pay to the City any costs in excess of the fee collected, in order to cover the actual costs of checking of the map, plans and specifications, and investigations incidental thereto.
