It shall be the duty of every person, firm, or corporation engaged in the laying down, constructing, or repairing of any sidewalk, curb, wall, driveway, or stairs on the public streets of the City, immediately upon the completion thereof, to remove all tools, equipment, lumber, mortar, lime, cement, and other construction materials remaining after the completion of the work, as well as all dirt, rubbish, or debris occasioned by the work and to leave the streets or sidewalks in a condition of thorough cleanliness.
